Did you try locking all the parts then updating the library and using the
update schematic function?

Hello,
I would like to update our internal partnumbers on the the schematic in
the Part Fields. But I can't seem to get the global function to work.
For example I have 89 100nF caps with the same internal partnumber and I
would like to update them all at once instead of hitting each one, one at
a time. When I try to do the global function it only finds the one 100nF
and doesn't update the part fields. Any help would be appreciated.
