You can trick it into this... :) What I've done on occasion is to create multiple PCBs for one schematic by using a signal layer that's not part of the boards for the connections between the individual boards. Say you have a PCB solder connector that you use to solder two PCBs together, and the schematics for both boards are one single design. I then use a signal layer that is not in the boards to connect the pads of the two footprints of the PCB connector on both PCBs to satisfy the netlist. This way you are flexible WRT which components to put on what board, without having to change the schematics for that.
