Looks like the courtesy cops are hot on my tail!

Personally, I don't like my in-box being flooded by a bunch of responses
to a vague and ill thought out question. And I am taking the opportunity
to say so. I intend to do the same identical thing in the future, should
the mood suit.

My advice to posters of questions:

1. Do your homework first.

2. Ask a narrow, targeted question.

There is always the Block Sender option if you don't like my frankness -
it wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit.

I suggest that useful and respectful replies are obligatory, and are the
responsibility of the person responding. If responses are impatient and
sarcastic, an otherwise valuable forum becomes much less so.

Tim

This is exactly why I don't respond to shotgun requests.

If you want a useful reply, post a detailed (not shotgun) request. And
any request on antennas MUST INCLUDE THE OPERATING FREQUENCY - NO
EXCEPTIONS!!! Or do you want to try a 100 KHz antenna at 2.4 GHz, or
vice versa? And my response was VERY USEFUL: go to the manufacturer's ap
notes because they are a treasure trove of data (I know this because I
have)! Maybe the guy doesn't even know that ap notes are available...

Hmmm...Interesting how Tom's reply could lead anywhere...
I understand Len was asking for "Any design info you'd care to share?"
nothing specific...so if you have something that you would like to share
good, otherwise....your reply was unnecessary.

Thanks,

Carlos

I generally don't respond to such shotgun requests, but have you
bothered to check RFID manufacturer's application notes (probably not,
as they are full of this info). The clue here is that you didn't specify
a frequency, which is worse than asking "what kind of car should I
buy?".

Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience printing RFID antennas using Protel99SE?
Any design info you'd care to share?

Thanks in advance,
Len G.
