Dear Kelly, I recommend Fluid Signs: Being a Person the Tamil Way by Professor Errol Daniels. It's good insofar as Daniels reads Peirce with respect to ethnographic data. It's not as diagrammatic as John Sowa's various graphs (at all) and so maybe isn't what you are looking for but it is definitely worth reading (it has a direct application, ontologically, within anthropology).
