List, Please remember that participants in the forum are asked to limit their posts to no more than one post per day in any given thread, and two posts per day if they are participating in more than one thread.
In the 12 days since I made what I believe to be a reasonable request I have had to send three off List notes to individuals who have posted over the limit. I have asked Ben Udell, co-manager of Peirce-L, to remove those from the List who continue to over-post after receiving such an off List warning. However, over the course of many months an occasional 'slip up' will be tolerated, but another off List note will be sent I have heard from several forum members who find this request for limiting the number of posts to be reasonable and those who definitely do not, and even from one with mixed feelings about it. But I continue to believe that it is in the best interests of all members of the List to limit the frequency of their posts.
