Poetics is splintered ok, but: No, there is no such thing as a normative inquiry, poetically or not, that is what I would assume. I also do not believe in something just because it is old: Eg. the greeeks had a problem with pedophility, and that is! A! Problem! I would say. Wankers. Democracy? Wankers. Weird bullshitters.
