I know that I can't participate in such a collective effort. Too much work.
I can only write about what strikes my fancy at the moment, not as part of
a sustained collective process. The same goes for the alternative textbook.
However, I do plan to put some of my more interesting (to me) pen-l screeds
on my web-site as a kind of alternative textbook. If people want to use
those, that's great.
