Not necessarily. "The truly militant" is probably one of those
categories that needs to be responded to with nominalist scepticism. For
example, the "White Panthers" on the lam from the police who got caught
driving around the Upper Peninsula in a van with open cans of beer or
something like that. The only credit they should get is for providing
raw material for jokes.
