The problem is these kinds of NGO's aren't going away as far as theorizing international institutions and lefties will be left in the dust if we don't engage them. It's in that sense that Porto Allegre and Global Peoples Assembly etc. are novel and promising forms of collective action dealing with issues of global governance and subsidiarity. Ian
