The Korean recovery plan was an almost total
sellout to US interests. If the longshoreman
lockout brings the export side of the Korean
economy to its knees, all the better for merchant
banks, financial groups and private equity to
make new deals and take over even more distressed
assets. I'm sure that is what many are thinking.
