Don't expect from me a rational explanation Doug. As they say, logic and rationality are not the same. As a mathematician, I am quite logical but not necessarily rational. My sadness is about your personal attitude, together with Jim's, together with Lou's and what have you. I guess my attitude would approach in the limit as "n" goes to somewhere, to Victor Hugo's, at least, as I know him from a few of his novels that I read when I was young.
