I would agree. And indeed, though I have sometimes been careless in making the distinction, it is _political activity_, not voting, that is of interest to me. Voting seems more or less a symbolic activity in the dark appreciated only by the voter him/herself. I couldn't care less what private symbols voters send to themselves. Carrol
