Hmm... I never got Max's original message (above). Strange. Anyway, Max, the question really is, are you still willing to carry him (Kos)? Or should I say: You ain't a brother, but are you still heavy for Him(*)? ;-)

I don't think about him much. One of the fallouts from the Obama
miracle is that his on-line presence & fundraising machine have totally eclipsed the Kos hive.

Howdy Max,

(The "Him" above was a reference -- admittedly obtuse -- to Obama. Hence the capitalisation. Kos lacks the fanboy base for that, right now). Regarding the funraising/on-line presence... this seems to be a cyclical event for the "netroots". Every 2 years they mount various spirited efforts only to find the traditionalists beating them out once the primaries come to an end!

But wait, I recall some bad blood from the Pajama Media days...
Anyway, even as a non-Hillary-supporter, I found the attacks on Hillary in the "netroots" irritating ... enough to consider not voting Obama (if I was going to vote, that is!), just to spite these precocious children ;-). And hence my question: if I feel this way, it makes me wonder about the reaction from those truly optimistic souls who find Hillary inspiring and actually wanted to vote for her!

Hill & Bill deserved everything they got. Until they got read the riot act by their own supporters in Congress, they were still trying to poison the
well for Obama, to keep the way to the nomination open in 2012.

Maybe true, but I was asking about the effect of the Hillary-hating on those who may otherwise be inclined to vote Obama. If the sexist attacks on Hillary (including by Obama supporters) can turn someone like me (a non-Hillary supporter) angry, I was wondering about its effect on those who actually thought Hillary was worth their support!

WRT getting read the riot act... this too is politics of course. In this case, the politics of getting past the Clinton era... but not to anything loftier. Clyburn and the rest of the manipulative snakes in Congress are no more principled than the Clintons, as I see it.
