Getting Nader (or any other serious non-corporate contender) into the debates WILL change the (corporate controlled) terrain upon which American electoral activity occurs.

I'm sure most Frenchmen stood by while others stormed the Bastille. That's typical.

Typical. I was talking about the need to create a movement from below, which can change the terrain upon which electoral activity occurs, and you talk about a movement to get Nader into the debates.

I suggest you go through the website and its links like 'whocontrolsthe world.com' to see this film's potential in this particular political conjuncture. Personally, I like the paternalistic Northern quote of Jefferson on the latter: “Every generation needs its own revolution.” ;-)

While walking along the streets of Seattle during the WTO protests, I overheard two satin-jacketed members of the Steamfitters Union talking as they walked to one of the many rallies within the protest. "Thomas Jefferson says to err on the side of the revolution," one was telling the other. The streets of Seattle were alive with tens of thousands from all over the world who understand what the corporations are up to. In nearly every block of Seattle there was at least one organization that was Nader inspired. Nader also held recaps of the day's activities for the press and others at the end of each day of the protests. There are people who talk and analyze, and then there are those who do. Nader does. And union members were out in force in their colors. The press ignored both. But I reckon that anyone who was there knows there's a revolution going on, whether it's televised or not.

Get Nader into the debates. Elect Cindy Sheehan. These are my present goals.
