Dear Doyle,

Not that I give a "thing" to what Brad says, but you appear to be
someone who is speaking as whom Ravi objected: we all have "different"
experiences with what happened then! Pro-immigrant marches in the US
may make an impact on a wider scale that may be a 'singularity' in the
US for a new movement, but I tell you: no one cares about such a
'singularity" in Turkey. Today, the Turkish left is stuck between
nationalism and Islam, and some of us who write articles in the URPE
journal or New Left Review, hardly contribute to what is going on
there in any constructive manner.

Don't know what to say, but things are not that pleasant "globally!"

So maybe, we all need to focus on our own countries and communicate as
much as we can, keeping in mind that we do not necessarily "speak" the
same language, although each of us have very similar desires when it
comes to do a little better than what exists now.

Best,
Sabri
