I would agree. We can't work together here on common projects, so to
some degree this is a place to ascertain the responses of people to
the shifts that are happening in the Global system. It's pointless to
jump on anyone. Ravi's original point has shown a sort of axis (sharp
divisions) upon which many people base their sense of change. Where
possible it would be good to see a variety of perspectives without
thinking too hard on differences. I am not advocating a liberal view
of discourse. I am saying it is a valuable resource to hear people
respond to a left sense of the times on a variety of perspectives.
