People are watching, everywhere in the world. It will be easier for Chávez to persuade others to join him in a South American currency bloc, or could at least help him make the point for greater commercial and banking integration more persuasive to his colleagues and, more importantly, to the peoples of South America. He's been advocating integration for a while. An accounting fact: The weight of the U.S. economy is inflated by the size of its FIRE sector. Deflate FIRE and the weight of the U.S. economy shrinks. The U.S., like Seinfeld's George Constanza, should worry about the "shrinkage" PR problem. _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
