Of course a dialectical, historical materialist, view would synthesize
both class struggle and capital-logic positions. So if marxists indeed
fall into those two camps they are not, strictly speaking, "marxists".
My own view is that actually-existing marxism has deviated so
consistently and insistently from Marx 's profound insights that one
has to eschew the label in order to pursue the intention.
