It will be interesting to see how the labor unions which campaigned for KJ, a 
non-union employer of teachers at two charter schools, respond to his austerity 
policies, given the city and state budget deficits.
 
BTW, a friend said that KJ is slated to appear on the Colbert Show.

A few nights ago, former ambassador Andrew Young was on "the Daily
Show," talking about Obama's victory. He finished with a zinger.
Paraphrasing, he said: it's just like with experience with the Black
city mayors; just when the country's broke, we put in a Black man to
run the show. (and, by implication, if he doesn't succeed, he gets the
blame.)
