You are conflating the Marxist conception of humanity leaving the Realm of
Necessity for the Realm of Freedom with the bourgeois concept of progress. The
Marxist concept of progress is moving from capitalism to socialism and
communism, not just getting rid of capitalism for whatever might pop up , which
includes barbarism. In her formula "Socialism or Barbarism", Luxembourg holds
the Marxist concept of progress.
The idea of struggle against capitalism without any aim or goal of socialism,
is Bernsteinian error.
