I don't see how. I can see that he may have traded immediate lucre for
a mix of honest activism and political gain. But its not like if the
whole master of the universe project failed, his Harvard degree
wouldn't have provided him a 6 figure fallback. Also, as someone who
had a spouse with a stable job supporting the (thus far) three tech
startups I have been a part of, I can tell you that's a far cry from
"long bets with low odds" -- like some ghetto kid trying to make it to
the NBA.
