Dear Gene, At times, I ask myself why the heck I keep wasting my breath to say such things as you say to a deaf (or deafened) audience. Our audience don' t hear what we say: they hear whatever they want to hear, although what we say has nothing to do with they manage to hear. It is way worse than 1982, if not way worse than 1929. But, what else can we do other than continuing to say what we say?
