This new Woody Allen film seems a return to his old, funny, style of film-making, complete with Larry David playing a more misanthropic version of WA. It's a big improvement over turkeys such as "Cassandra's Dream" but it's no "Bananas." Of course, it has the same flaws as standard WA flicks, e.g., falling for the Sociobiology Fallacy (i.e., the attraction that beautiful young women allegedly feel toward geezers). It was nice that not everyone in the flick was rich, though it's hard to tell that non-whites exist in NYC.
