At least Moore's alternative is better than that of Richard Wolff's
well-worth-watching film "Capitalism Hits the Fan" on the origins of
the financial melt-down. Wolff's his alternative to capitalism was
.... (drum-roll, please) ... the life of entrepreneurial sorts in
Silicon Valley (in essence because those folks mix work and play).

Of course, Marx saw workers' cooperatives as exhibiting some signs of
what socialism would be. Another source of such signs was large,
concentrated, and centralized corporations. How to mix those two?
