Patrick, If you find economists who oppose market measures in general (both cap and trade and the carbon tax), I would be interested to know about them as well. As you undoubtedly know, mainly those activists and economists who say they oppose market measures simply oppose cap and trade, and don't recognize the market nature of the carbon tax. (For that matter, Al Gore himseff, with a straightface, claims in "Our Chioce" to be a champion against market fundamentalism, and meanwhile he supports both the carbon tax and cap and trade.)
