If you find economists who oppose market measures in general (both cap and
trade and the carbon tax), I would be interested to know about them as
well. As you undoubtedly know, mainly those activists and economists who
say they oppose market measures simply oppose cap and trade, and don't
recognize the market nature of the carbon tax. (For that matter, Al Gore
himseff, with a straightface, claims in "Our Chioce" to be a champion
against market fundamentalism, and meanwhile he supports both the carbon
tax and cap and trade.)

Also, I have written articles about what an alternative policy would be,
and as well its relation to Marxism. This includes an article against the
carbon tax in detail, another mainly against cap and trade, another
article about the trickle-down fallacies about green jobs, etc.  See
