I haven't seen this particular flick, but it seems to me it could be
"fun" and a "terrifying grind" at the same time. Heroin, I'm told, is
fun to use. But then addiction becomes a terrifying grind -- and then
the thrill is gone. Maybe this film is the (pro-war) war-movie
equivalent of "Leaving Las Vegas"?
