That Obama decided not to eat a meal with Netanyahu is beyond the diplomatic norm, but you're s right that the Israeli establishment pumped up the histrionics. For that, NPR aired a story all about Israel's hysteria with no responses from the US gov't (at least in that story). Hmm... it's good to see that NPR is sticking to its usual standards of objectivity. That the US for-pol establishment is focusing on ending the siege of Gaza suggests that the Israeli cleansing and conquest of E.
