This is most questionable. The forces of repression certainly have a strategy for repressing mass opposition, and central to that strategy has to be discrediting the mass movement as much as possible *before* initiating violent repression on a massive scale. The use of provocateurs to prod stupid extremists into firebombings, etc.--or to throw the firebombs themselves--is a standard tactic in executing this strategy. Why should it be different in Greece?
