Interesting. Things that stand out -- The UNODC estimates the annual
gross income of transnational organized crime at 125 billion USD, a
negligible figure compared to, say, global (2009) GDP (estimated by
the IMF at 58 trillion USD). Drug trafficking is by far the bulkiest
business included -- about 70% of whose proceeds stay in the rich
countries.
