But that would mean (that is workers getting hit) there is no consumption adjustment. I just returned from the US after a three week vacation and I have to say the US is bloody cheap compared to Europe--restaurants as well as everyday goods (made in PRC). And surprisingly on most occasions service is better than Europe.
