I agree, but we should also be aware that those efforts at finding non-electoral ways will _also_ be fruitless in the short run. The dissolution of the left over the last 40 years represents the Normal state of affairs under capitalism. Nevertheless, the activities of leftists within such interims has always been crucial to the next (and unexpected, unpredictable) explosion of mass enertgy. It has always come; I think it will come again, but we must not expect that we can will it into existence.
