I have a hard time getting the camera angle right. The first time, I used
my monitor, but it was too high; the second time, I used an old laptop, off
to the side in an awkward position. Most of all, I am not very glamorous.

CB: I'll leave it up to the girls as to whether you are glamorous.

I have this idea for using the astronaut (cosmonaut ?) image. You
could be in a orbiting space capsule so that you can look down on
earth and spot macroeconomic patterns. "We see from this shot that
GDP is shrinking in England." "Wow, look at all that accumulation and
concentration of ficticious wealth in Lower Manhattan. "

Actually, I first got this idea talking to Andre Gunder Frank when he
used to talk about those historically long term cycles ( China is on
the rise , long run). I imagined him in an orbiting time machine.

Yeah, that's it. You could be a professor in an orbiting time machine
making macro time and place observations on economic trends and cycles
on earth.
