I don't think this is right. From what I have read, life under the
Nazis was not very pleasant for ordinary Germans even before the War;
it was pleasant only in comparison with the lot of the Jews and
gypsies.

CB: What about the life of ordinary Germans was less pleasant than
Americans, French or English masses in the period that the Nazis were
in power in Germany ?
