Now is a terrible time to raise ANY taxes.

To say you should raise some but not others is logically incoherent,
as far as macro stabilization or deficit reduction goes.

As redistributionist politics, it's lame.  The way the public sector
redistributes is not with taxes, but with spending.  A full-throated
defense of social spending would hold off any increases until
employment was below six percent, then support raising taxes
on the top half of the population.
