International Protests in Defense of Wikileaks

The attacks on Wikileaks and the arrest of its spokesperson, 
Julian Assange, have sparked calls around the world for 
demonstrations in defense of the website which is in the process 
of releasing a quarter million cables between US embassies and 
consulates and the US State Department.

Below is a list of demonstrations compiled from the WikiLeaks 
Protests Facebook page. If you are aware of others please add the 
information (time, date, place, etc…) in the comments. Not 
surprisingly the first calls came from Australia (Assange is 
Australian) and there are alread demonstrations planned for 
multiple cities there.
