I've seen in a number of places this idea that a primary challenge
to BHO from the left will permanently alienate DP African-American
voters.  Now some here will surely think good riddance, but what is in
question is not just abandoning the DP, but the left as well.  The logical
move if this holds water is for African-Americans to move right, which would
not be a welcome development.

I'm not sure what to make of it myself, but it seems to be worth talking
about.  At first blush, it does not imply a very flattering view of black
voters.
