From: Max Sawicky " I've seen in a number of places this idea that a primary challenge to BHO from the left will permanently alienate DP African-American voters. Now some here will surely think good riddance, but what is in question is not just abandoning the DP, but the left as well. The logical move if this holds water is for African-Americans to move right, which would not be a welcome development.
^^^^^ CB: Black voters supported Clinton overwhelmingly. Obama is not to the right of Clinton. Therefore, supporting Obama now is not a move to the right for Black voters. U are not getting the left-center-right poltical spectrum correct. This thread misrepresents the ideology of the vast majority of Democratic Party voters, Black and White and Brown. ^^^^^ I'm not sure what to make of it myself, but it seems to be worth talking about. At first blush, it does not imply a very flattering view of black voters ^^^^ CB: Black voters look a lot better than white voters. _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
