In the Green Dictatorship, the jetsetting, SUV-driving & designer kitchen
Green knowledge-bureaucrats regulate everything. There are the regulators,
and the regulated. The radicality of the Greens, is that you have a group of
people actively placing limits on what other people may do.

The Green Dictators tell people how to live their lives, how and what to
consume, and what they are allowed to do or not to do. Anything defined as
polluting or harmful (or anyway not compatible with a Green world) is taxed,
fined, or leads to imprisonment or compulsory re-education. There has to be
a lot of education, because people have to learn to give up their evil,
polluting ways, and learn to recycle their plastics and batteries.

Of course, to police such a system of regulation costs money. That's why the
Green elite necessarily imposes tributes and taxes on the population. This
is considered fair, because, after all, looking after the environment is a
collective problem.

Admittedly, the Green knowledge bureaucrats do get very rich helpings of tax
money for their services. But this is considered fair as well. Firstly, they
have the Knowledge that you and I do not have. Secondly, if they were not
paid a rich salary, they would not be able to go jetsetting, drive their
SUVs or buy their mansions, designer kitchens and fancy stereo systems!

It could be argued that a Green Dictatorship is not benevolent. After all, a
dictatorship interferes with people's freedoms. But as against that, you
have to remember the urgency of environmental regulation. If people do not
do as they are told by the Greens, life on earth will be destroyed. So, even
if the Green dictatorship is considered ideally as less desirable, it is
simply necessary for the collective good.

Cheers,

Jurriaan
