BDL's occasional screeds against selected Marxists are more of an
embarrassment to him than anyone else, but it ought to be recognized that
along with Krugman, Stiglitz, and Sachs, he's part of a thin line of
resistance, both methodological and political, to a lot of mainstream econ
bullshit.
