OK, closing a tax loophole is a tax increase.  Yes, obviously it leaves less 
money in the pocket of the ex-beneficiary of the loophole.  That makes sense, 
yes, that;s a tax increase.

Now, cutting Social Security benefits leaves less money in the hands of the 
person previously collecting the amount.  Yes, that's a tax increase.

How can the Republicans support THAT tax increase?
