so an old woman who's passed menopause isn't female?

^^^^^^
CB: Not a biologically functioning female. Her _gender_ is female.
But gender is not identical with biological sex. A pre-pubescent girl
or boy are not biologically female or male yet either. They are
potentially biologically female or male. Young girls can't get
pregnant.

I've been waiting for this sort of response for a while since this
issue comes up on LBO-talk from time to time. So, I have thought out
my answer ( giggles). The fact that some individuals don't have legs
, i.e. not bipedal, doesn't make them non-humans for moral or legal
purposes.

The fact that some individuals don't have functioning gonads etc.
doesn't become a basis for discarding the biological definition of sex
or render it an invalid biological concept.
