Yeah. Exactly right. Unarmed occupiers can't, or usually can't, prevail over the overarmed and over-numerous forces of repression in any conventional sense, but they certainly can shut the city down. Which is just as good. The rest of CG's post rang very true: the wild excitement, the terror, the shame and humiliation of being beaten, the bad dreams.
