It's actually even more surreal than that. The US government openly 
acknowledges that Iran is *not* building a bomb; yet somehow 
there's still a problem. I'm not a big Orwell fan, but if ever 
there was a type specimen of doublethink, this is it. It's been 
quite fascinating over the last few days hearing the nice moderate 
reasonable well-educated people on NPR explore all the various 
war scenarios without anybody ever asking 'why?'
