Ultrasound is mandated only if a woman wants to have an abortion. If you want
to fly somewhere on a commercial plane you need to go through security
processes. If you don't want an abortion then you don't need the ultrasound. If
you don't want to fly you don't need to go through a security check. A health
insurance mandate forces you to buy insurance. You have no choice. You can
avoid the ultra sound mandate by not having an abortion (or having an illegal
one) . You can avoid the airline security check by not flying. You cannot avoid
the health insurance mandate. At least that is how it seems to me. The
situations are not similar in the appropriate way.
