Why is it an attack on workers?

If I praise a car, is that not praise for the workers who made it?

I'm so confused.

With any commodity, be it a car or a candy bar, the point is that it is the
purchaser's own preferences that count; there is no political point to
consumption choices except in the case of organized boycotts. If this
thread is merely on personal preferences and enjoyment, fine. But if a
political point is intended, the thread is an attack on workers.

We buy cars for local use. When we travel between points much more than a
100 miles we rent luxury cars.
