Of course Obama is preferable to Romney. But in Africa, it's been US-imperialism-as-usual the last four years: http://www.counterpunch.org/2012/10/05/which-africans-will-obama-whack-next/

I spent yesterday walking around the worst slums in Nairobi, and the difference between four years ago and today is remarkable: total apathy today.

And add climate, where activists gave Obama a pass, at least that suicidal behavior has to end: http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2012/nov/01/obama-strategy-silence-climate-change

So with Sandy a big reminder - even in South Durban where I live, http://www.counterpunch.org/2012/11/06/what-sandy-shows-south-africa/ - it's time for activists to remobilize.

And Elizabeth Warren has won, that's good, she can bash Obama on his Wall Street bias, and hopefully that subsides since the bankers defunded him a bit this time...
