Jeremy Bentham had a complex system of ethics which Marx termed book-keeping. And Kant with his categorical imperative wasn't able to conclude what would now be considered the simplest moral principles.
Morals are rules of behavior established by the ruling class with some enforced by laws. Just note the current set of copyright and patent laws. -- Ron
