I'm afraid that on the question of the CIA, Feinstein is just as hard-core as Rep. Jane Harman was. Many Democratic Party members in California think of her as a "moderate" Republican much more than a Democrat (unlike, say, Sen. Barbara Boxer). Feinstein was recently reelected, so there's no way to threaten to kick her out of office if she doesn't comply with our wishes for almost 6 years. how can we put pressure on her? can we threaten her with impeachment? is there _any_ leverage that average citizens with limited financial means have to deal with the power of a many-term incumbent with a lot of financial resources who's very well connected within the DC establishment? -- Jim Devine / "Segui il tuo corso, e lascia dir le genti." (Go your own way and let people talk.) -- Karl, paraphrasing Dante. _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
