It wasn't my intention to be peevish or reproachful, but to remind you that the
democratic rights (or whatever else you wish to call them) which you dismiss in
theory, you strongly support in practice. That's all to the good, and better
than the other way round - as in the case, for example, of those who support
self-determination for national minorities everywhere except in their own
backyard. It's your contradiction to wrestle with, but at least it's a harmless
one, and I think we can agree that what's decisive is the answer to the
