According to John Milios,
“Marx shows that the products of labour become values because they are produced within the framework of the capital relation. Further, that value necessarily manifests itself in the form of money.” But the scientific evidence he produces for this interpretation is nil, and the counterevidence is massive. In reality, Marx does not show this at all. If Milios is to be believed, value dropped out of the air one fine day in England around 1750 (“klunk”! There it was!). With theories like that, it is no wonder that Marxists continue to flounder around in a state of confused disarray, unable to make any sense of the transition of capitalism to socialism, or the transition of socialism to capitalism.
